the mystery of the folding tables is solved.... i couldnt remember where they were and we were puzzled for days ,,, then finally les remembered I took them to Juan and he brought them over the border to the coop. i am young and cant remember things that just happened. if i really get wacky, no one will ever know !!

les went to punta abreojos and his blood is perfect, yahooooooo

there are waves today - tubes that are not good for surfing but fun to look at from this window

today i plan to visit the delegado and police station:

1. want to rent one of the old educational bldgs as a museum and clubhouse
2. need to see if the computer is up and running
3. need to work out a time to meet with Oralia and finish up the NGO paperwork .. time to get this ball rolling

Yesterday and the day before we took a walk up to the new house construction and I left a white trashbag with the guys for them to put their trash ... I picked up after them, amazing how 3 guys can create a mess in a week. plastic and foil and chip wrappers. yuch ... at least i got there before it was TOO messy and now they have a big bag to collect trash in.

I also picked trash up along the way - there was no traffic and very little trash up Calle Erizo. My days of no Calle Erizo trash may be over ... I am very sad about this ....

ok...i think i mam losing it. for 2 days les and i looked everywhere for 2 tables that i bought in ensenada ....i wrote to debbie and asked if we had left it behind. i distinctly remember loading them onto les's truck




mystery is now solved



i took them to costco to meet up with the guy who took them to the coop offices. crazy. debbie says i am suffering form CRS and she is right !!! I cant remember s*** :)



we went to the new house that belongs to German, construction is coming along rapidly. the guys are form punta abreojos and may do some work for us as well. one of them is younger, he likes bikes, and he will helpo me to fromthe punta abreojos bike club !!! i am thrilled. his name is Josue. His boss is Monico. first time i have ver met anyone by that name



we put up the dining room curtains that linda sewed together for us. they are very nice. the livingroom ones are a different color, c'est la vie. we didnt find more of the same as in the diningroom.



did a lot of replanting today. i have some wonderful new cacti. i also replanted a part of the fuschia and i so hope it takes. i sold the one i had bought ins an diego yesterday for $20. good moeny for DIF project.



i am going to ask the delegado to rent me one of the bldgs near the coop store. it needs work but it will double as a museum/bike club headquarters.



les was practicing with his new pellet shotgun on the fornt porch this morning and Rex absolutely hated the noise. he was shaking like a leaf. so much for being prized as a hunter dog !!



we renamed the baja bocana hotel as la bocana hotel and registered the name. we both agree that it is easier for people to remember LA BOCANA hotel ....

Les is not well today - took him to the clinic. they diagnosed him with an infection and are plying him with antiobiotics...just as well that we have san diego on the lineup - leave tomorrow morning. arrive wed morning. and today is a holiday in the States.  it is an exquisite day in Bocana - the tiniest of breezes and the temp around 75. cool. quiet. very, very nice.  As soon as Les gets better, it will be a perfect world again.

Went to the old planta to see our paint job and it is excellent !!!!!!  Amazing. We didnt think the whitewash was working but it was and it looks A-OK :))))) Great for a recycling center. Now....just need some plants and the Marek UNA BOCANA LIMPIA signs up and pronto !!
