Happy birthday sister ....  here we are with the most incredibly beautiful day. hot hot sun and silence all around except for the ocean, the waves are big and getting bigger by the day.  we want them huge for the tournament !!  I ams till taking it very easy, the house is put together adn all the gargage sale stuff separated. Next week I will get into gear and get people selling at least 3 times a week.  I ealized I forgot to buy forks for the big party on the 30th .. how did that ever happen ??? we were in Costco and I bought knives, and spoons, and knapkins, and 2 different size cups (one with little fish on it for the kids) and in the midst of comparison shopping ... the forks stayed somewhere besides in my cart !!  *&^%$% and urghbtyuugh

the second set of surfing posters are on their way. next Monday I get to meet Hector who had them made.  I love them, he did an awesome job !!

Last night I sent out letters to all the guests. Wanted to make sure all of them had a chance to participate, if they so desire. I am so poroud of UCSD. It was the biggest and most pleasant surprise of all.  I should have known that university professors and dept chairs would take on the beauty of a small hands on project like m ine.  You can not get more grass roots than someone who donates 100% effort and time to a project and where 100% of the donations are funnelled correctly. transparent as can be. I just love it that they all helped out without even knowing me, all  on Allens's sayso. And that Allen would take it upon himself to make it happen restores faith in humanity.  Yes, it is a gorgeous day all around.
