Scott, Joaquin, Bruce, Les

we had a huge lunch today ... split pea veggie soup as an entre, then ....mashed potatoes, arroz a piemontese - special rice, a green salad, cole slaw, almondegas = meatballs a la Les with Polish mushroom sauce, beans .......Cake with hot blueberries on top and/or fruit salad for dessert.  It is Gary's birthday and he turned 69. Which means next year's celebration is an even bigger one.

Linda, Gary, Scott, Joaquin, Bruce

Linda came over and she was the only female besides me ... Kim did not come but sent over a wonderful pasta salad that was incredibly delicious.  Joaquin and eventually Nacho, Linda, Scott, Jerry and Rick (all from McCall), Bruce, birthday boy Gary, Les and myself.  We had soooooooooooo much food and everyone was well fed and happy. I love entertaining. I love to hear Les's laugh on the porch. I have NO idea what the conversations were about, but the laughter was music to my ears.
