amazingly busy morning with all the guests we had for the motorcycle tournament !!

we made pancakes and Les's famous scrambled eggs for lots of folks.

They all got off to the races and except for Karina and Alejandro, the photographer - doctor from la paz, they are all still at the races !!

now Alejandro and I got to talking and he has a story to beat all stories. he used to ride motorcycles. he had a bad accident and lost a foot. WHICH WAS REPLACED WITH A DEAD MAN'S FOOT. and he now walks as if nothing had ever happened. You dont see major scars. holy smokes, Batman, what an incredible story.

so the motorcycle organization guy - Martin Liera - contracts him to take photos of the motorcyles during the races. he came up yesterday with his wife. all comped by Martin. who , by the way, really worked so hard to make sure everyone had a place to stay. he took people to edith and valentin. brought them to us. took them to the hotel. I wd hire that guy any day !!

Shari and Juan did not show up - turns out they had surprise guests.

Mulegena Lisa and Mich did not show either - I presume they found a good place to watch the game !!

Spain won the world cup for the first time ever !!
