Then he went to paint one of the rooms in the house. Came home at noon. showered and got ready to BBQ chicken and hamburgers. I prepared:
potato salad
miseria which is the Polish cucumber salad
cole slaw
carmelized onion
seasoned the hamburger meat and made patties
applesauce
lime mousse and choc cake and blueberry pie were already made.
lunch was amazing and all drank and had a good time. Joaquin never showed, bummer bummer. In the evening, we conked out early.
this morning i thought we would be watching the world cup opening at 6 but we slept til 7:45. I jumped out of bed to go and teach. good class, since Sister Isabel is leaving for good this Sunday and she will be flying, we did a lesson on airport vocabulary -
this afternoon, the bikers came by and asked me to take them to abreojos to put up signs for tomorrow's carwash. very smart and I am proud of them !!! we went- tookt he water barrels and got the guy to deliver the water. got permission from franky to use the salon social and lilly has the keys. put up signs in 4 stores and came back.
i will drop them offf in the morning.then i will come back and at 2 i have a meeting with the new little kids in the club. i need to figure out how to get them to the next race and how to raise money for them to be able to be registered. it costs 40 pesos per kid. we have a lot of new kids and i want them covered !! we have 3 weeks to get moola, we can do it !!
we have 2 more bikes donated. they are in santa ana. i will perhaps get kari nina to bring them down to san diego for me
