EASTER SUNDAY

It is Easter Sunday and La Bocana is still a  ghost town. There was not even mass today ...can you believe it ? 

we drove out to Bocanita to see the palapa roof that Jerry is putting up. It looks really nice. The day is gorgeous - a bit of a wind but does not feel cold in the sun. there are perfect surfing waves. not big but beautifully formed

I have been emailing back and forth for 2 days with the engineer who is a specialist in EIR reports regarding our landfill. it is complicated. oh so very complicated. i am lost. he spits out names and procedures and jeez. i want need dream of a dispachante to just handle all of this for me ... gvt bureaucracy ... waste of money.... waste of time ... rgh****^%$##%&&*    Take it easy Blanquita ...breathe ........ deeply .........change of topic QUICK !!!!

I spent hours replanting plants - some have grown big and needed more growing room - they all seem very happy :)  I am esp proud of the roses - first time I have ever been able to grow them - new rosebud to bloom soon

the newish garden at the north end is coming slowly. it gets really windy there so i only planted geraniums and wildflowers. hope they grow big .. they are definitely colorful ...that is the goal

watched the video Marek made of Landon being born. Really amazing .... you feel so part of the moment ... you can now participate after the fact. very moving video. the only part i am confused is why they let Landon cry so much instead of cuddling him right away so he relaxes .... strange ...

there was an earthquake in san diego - 6.9  -  we did not feel  it at all  - just as well -- bad idea on an Easter Sunday

maybe we can see the baby on our way to rick and karinina's. makes sense to me ...we will be staying with KariNina and Rick in OC and then go to the Braz. consulate onThurs early morning.  Better this way - we get to visit with her and Rick yahooooooooooooooo. Now, I have to pick up my docs in San Diego - sure hope my sister Chris and Carol work it out to get my docs from one to the other.

On Friday when we come back - probably go straight to north county to see the baby :) and then head to frank and debbie. nice of them to put us up again. hope they come for Thanksgiving s we can pamper them some.
