we had 2 guests yesterday by Bahia de Los Angeles or L.A. Bay, who are thinking about buying a lot very close to us. Their wives had fiven them the OK to go ahead with the purchase if they wanted, but they took pictures and will consult with them first. Since I want George and Mary and Smiley and John to be our neighbors - my vote was a big yes .... does my vote count ???? we shall see. The lot is selling for $5000. close to beach, but not too close, great location for electricity to be hooked up, close to the Portella Heil's - what more could you possible want ??!!
Actually, there is an OK house for sale for $10,000.00 - any takers ??? This is a corner lot with electricity.
went to the high school today to see if i could find a time to teach the kids while they were at school. the director is Diana. very young, very nice but the schedule is a zoo. i would be in and out at radically different times. For a dollar a month ....I don't think so !!
So I bought a poster board and put up the possible times on the coop store window -
adults 10-10:30
elementary schoolers 2:30-3:00
high schoolers 3:30 to 4:00
all classes for $1 a month with the promise to help clean up la bocana in return.
While at the store, I ran into Caroline and Julio and they are both on board to help me pick up trash from 8 to 9 every morning !!! They will be getting their Una Bocana Limpia hats !!
