This day the weather is offtimes coudy and offtimes sunny - not too hot and not too cool. We went for a walk on the beach and it was gorgeous. We took rex for a run down to Bocanita since we saw some campers there but they were in beds inside a screened camper, so we did not bother them and just waved.
Bocanita is filthy. It needs some major cleanup and I need some help to make that happen.
My gmail is telling me that I have used 95% of it so I am deleting hundreds of old messages. Doesn't seem to be making any difference !! Weird.
There is a potluck party tonight at Edith and Valentine's house - she is making sushi !! We will stop by to say hi - maybe - neither of us feels like partying. I sent over chicken stew and rice .... I am supposed to make a cake but I don't think that is going to happen.
The bike club was supposed to have a bike race today and no one did it, but they forgot to tellt he police about the cancellation !!! Now the delegado is mad at me. jeeeeeeeeeeeeeez

we are having a party !!
Dave and wife Patty have been here for the last couple days - first night with Valentine, 2nd and 3rd with us, then this last over there again !! The first night they ate with Edith and Valentin, the 2nd we all went to Joaquin's (yesterday) and had a grand time ... I drank a margarita that Germann made for Patty and I and it was good good good. Les, Jim (Dave's friend) and most of the rest of the gang on beer and Dave on wine he brought from his vineyard.
Patty told me that their vineyard is very small and they produce about 900 cases a year, which they produce between the both of them !! She explained how Dave and some friends started out making wine at home in the garage for fun and then when a guy gave them some grapes in exchange for bottled wine they got more into it and eventually his kids wanted to move back into the State and they found this huge acreage at a good rate and planted grapes. Here it is so many years later and they are producing award winning wine. She likes some of the process, but not all of it. Both of them were teachers way back when and retired. And then made wine their life. So, if you see PESCATORE wine in the store - which means fisherman in Italian - be sure to get some !!
