ready to head north tomorrow -

had an interview with a girl fromthe biosphere on how our hotel impacts the environment....what i do to protect the environment .. how many guests we have and what my future plans are:  to this last question, I mentioned that we want to expand into all sorts of sports...kayaks and surfing and sailing and kitesurfing

the punta chivato group will not pay for the EIR. too expensive. they did not have their own gargae sale for lack of volunteer workers.  too bad ...i would have loved to help out and take home the leftovers :)

so, tomorrow we go to ensenada. eat. sleep. get my  cell phone somehow.  the next day we shop for wood etc. go to TJ for me to see the dentist - my tooth - already rootcanaled - has been bothering me for a month now. ridiculous.  thank goodness, the anti inflamatory antibiotic works miracles.  pain goes away almost immediately. heat makes it worse

from TJ we go to san diego to get my brazlian documents

cleaned the house up today - i am ready to go !!!  lots of empty suitcases to bring back goodies ...

we hope that Les is healthy, and the next time we go, will only be in December

the biologist sent me the name and email and phone numbers of all the gvt officials, somehow, I am positive this just isnt going to cut it...but ... I can try

I am going to write to Shari - maybe she can help. I am going to write to Mauro in BOLA as well as Larry in Arizona. All of them may be able to get me a sample project. That would certainly be the start ****

talked to my sister Chris today. everyone was unglued by the earthquake yesterday. it made her feel dizzy before she even realized what was wrong
