we have been busy all day at the house. Les is tiling the back room, I took sheets off and remade 8 beds !! The water plant is down so I can't do the laundry - piles and piles of sheets that will just have to sit til we get a full load of agua.

there is a lot of sand everywhere, maybe due to all the folks who were staying at the house. maybe due to the rocks and sand we put in front so that boats and trucks can turn around easily.

today I asked why a burrito is called a burrito and I learned that it is NOT because they used to be made out of burros, but rather that it is because of the following reasons:

1. a man used to keep them warm and served food using his burro as tranportation

2. the rolled tortilla looks like a burros ears

3. the bedrolls resembel the shape of the rolled up burritos

No one mentions burro meat being used hmmmmm

I also learned that you CAN call 1800 numbers, but the first numbers are odd - so 1800 is really 1866 and so on. that is important to know !!

I love being back in la bocana. it is quiet and it is beautiful. I love looking out and seeing the ocean from every window :)
