another carwash today, these guys are motivated to make this club happen bigtime. we didnt have water, so i loaded the truck with an empty tank, the water guy filled it up, then i dorve over to the park and we used a hose to put water from up to down tank. a procedure and it took so long Les came hunting for me. he was hungry !!!  when i got home, he had a wonderful steak ready, salad and homemade french fires ... what a guy !!

actually - this morning, at 9, I left the house for the cancha,  park - at 9 am and waited and waited and no one came. so i came home. the boys showed up at our house at around 1.  (only 4 hours later) hahaha.  then they worked all day.  and came over for dinner, just like yesterday !!!    I gave them spaghetti and oranges for dessert and they were happy :)  We talked about what to do with their Sunday money - since I personally wanted them to take the day off.  They will have to choose if they want to keep half of it for themselves OR keep this money for getting their passports/visa so I can take them to the States for a bike race one day

i will be doing some writing for foreign bikers to come, a new website would be handy and some articles for biking mags too - have done thinking about how to market our neck of the desert

les's upcoming 60th birthday plans - small dinner this thursday !!!!  then a bigger bash closer to my birthday !!!

I am also making the bike club a special lasagna dinner one day this week, they have to chose the day, looks like Tues is the day we can all do it

Leo stopped by while the boys were washing the cars.  Argenis came too. I heard that Leop got 2 used great bikes - one from Scott and one from German.  I feel really bad that things did not work out and that Leo left the bike club. But the truth is, since he left, all the boys seem happier.  the club is not going thru chaos every day and I do not feel like quitting the project any more (well, making dinner today and taking lunch and making dinner yesterday MADE MY DAY).  But jeez, what a shame that one of our best friend's kids is not on board.

We heard that Scott is back and was already fishing today - we also heard that his leg is still giving him a lot of pain. I must call them tomorrow to invite to the dinner party on thurs

Nacho came by this evening.  He told us that the coop paid a guy to round up any scrap metal from any yard that he could find.  They gave him permission to enter anyone's yard and "steal" in order to make la bocana prettier.  and if they jailed him because of stealing, the coop promised to bail him out of jail !!!!!  the wild wild west is right here !!!  so, the guy took 3 loads to punta abreojos. the coop paid his gas. he got paid for the scrap metal and made some cash. talk about cooperation :)))))))))))))))
