it is les's sister's birthday today - happy birthday Dzunia !!!  she is in Germany right now, making extra bucks to tide the family over during the winter.

walked on the beach this morning - didnt find any trash along the right side since the wabves were huge yesterday and maybe washed it all away BUT did find some trash  on the dunes - silver chip bags and plastic bottles.  I also saw a big dead dolphin on the shore. and also saw the remains of the baby osprey that the brother and sister kicked out of the nest. por thing. it was tiny and it had no chance of surviving

the news of the day is that upon reading the internet for tips on becoming Mexican citizens, which both of us want to do, I found out that as a Brazilian I only have to wait 2 years.  man oh man, I asked immigration 4 years ago if it was better to immigrate as a brazilian or an american. they said - come in as an american. well, 2 years ago we could have gotten rid of our fideiscomiso on the house (400 a year) and not paid immigration 3000 pesos a year to renew (6oo dollars) AND could have opened our business as natives and saved another 1000 dollars easily.  add it up. it is a lot of money. no one told me that latinas get a better deal. as a matter of fact, in G Negro they told me never to even mention that I was a Brazilian.  The immigration office in Santa Rosalia MUST have known about this advantage but never mentioned a thing !!!!!!????????  who knows. But now we are in the process of trying to get a lawyer and rectify this pronto.

the great news is that the Biosphere has included La Bocana in the trash and recycling program !!!  I have personally been invited to participate !!  I wrote to the coop, I want them with me 100% and present at the meetings.  They really are the life and soul of La Bocana. Without the coop, La Bocana would really not be in existance at all

Rex is in his JD role (juvenile delinquent) and so we have him tied up all day long. I take him to the beach for an hour of exercise first thing in the morning. It is horrible to keep him tied up but we cannot have him running around town. not OK.  we must set an example for the rest of the town. wish he would just stay put

yesterday I saw the moon in the morning with a chunk missing and the night before I had noticed the full moon. I saw the eclipse and didnt even put 2 and 2 together !! duhhhhhhhhhhhhh

there is a Mexico world cup soccer game today :)))))))))))))))))))

there is a baseball game in la bocana today as well - cruel choice for the players and fans to make !!!
