oh what an incredible day. first we left for breakfast with raquel dudu les and myself . we went to la taste restaurant again. it is on the boardwalk. the view of the ocean is fab. the service is great. the food is great. the view is great. the company was great. well, everything really was great. then raquel and dudu took off to go to las vantanas and other la paz beaches in her rented car. we took off south. first we went to san jose del cabo.
well, before we got to los barrilles near cabo, we saw the sign for the town of Santiago, where the desert waterfall is supposed to be. so we took it. it said 10 kilometers and that seemed reasonable. it was actually further but we found SOL DE MAYO waterfall and reserve. it was 75 pesos and a hike but we saw a waterfall and a very big pool of water literally in the middle of the desert. people were swimming, we didnt have bathing suits. it was so pretty and apparently all the water for cabo, san jose and la paz comes from this pool of agua !!!
left sol de mayo which is so called cause the sun is so so soooooooo hot in may...we drove by all the 5 star hotels between san jose and cabo and stopped for some ocean pics. then we went onto cabo. it was busy with traffic and les wanted to go onto TODOS SANTOS. we thought it was kinda close but it actually was quite far. worth the wait. we arrived and stopped at MIGUEL´S to eat. shrimp for me and chicken for les. delicious. the town is very artsy fartsy. galeries everywhere. art everywhere and they bring in arts and crafts from all over mexico. so i got some little things to give to linda and ana fisher when we get home
