went to the arroyo near irma's house and after cleaning for about 2 hours, Linda and I made it look new again.  there is still a lot to do, and this weekend is going to be busy, so i stopped by and have asked nacho and carlos and andres to help me this afternoon

tomorrow is gary's birthday lunch. we will have cole slaw, beans,mashed potatoes and les wants to make meatballs .... sounds pretty good...and I will make a cake - this year it will be scott and kim, juanchys and joaquin, linda and nacho, les and i, Bruce and the birthday boy

just wrote to frank and ernesto to see if we can get les's long lost and now found meds here to bocana

bruce's fishing stuff will arrive this weekend, need to give the moola to his Pancho since there was a charge for it

the black mountain bike shop has donations for us !!!  I am thrilled to pieces. i am really really so happy that there are amazingly generous people in this world.  this is one part of America that most of the world never hears about. the sheer big hearts they have when someone is in need.  Doug is donating a couple of used bikes. Maria Herrera says she has a couple. Now I have to fugure out how to get Maureen to handle this big load of stuff. I really think i should go to the States and do it, but in my absence Maureen is a great great help.  Being that MOM is out of the country. 

yeah, mom is in Brazil and she is an inspiration to all of us. she gets her health checked completely from top to bottom every six months. that way, there are no surprises, she is on top of everything and anything that might be wrong....

Nacho wheelie

Called Martinand asked him to handle the ambulance.  Wrote doctor Romero and asked him to be the doc on call for the bike race. details and more details. Wrote to the president of the G Negro club to ask what they wrote on their reconosimentos. And found out that Luis does not even work at the police station any more ???????  He was the instigator for the asociacion civil or non profit organization ...... I am soooooooooooo glad he did what he did and it will really be a big loss if he is out of la bocana for good.

have to figure out if her papers have been handled ... just ralized i never heard from the brazilian consulate agin. jeez. if it aint one thing, it is another !!!  time to get on the phone. bye for now !!
