it is Maureen's day and she actually took the day off. Good for her !!

Chile is in absolute choas with people looting. the president made a big mistake in not accepting help right away from all the countries who offered it.  no ffod. no water. no electricity. thank goodness Ade Goic is OK

this is a horse that has been down our street for days now .... they don't leave water for it nor any shade ... but they feed it at the end of the day. the other day there was a baby bull behind our house and it got off it's tether and went straight for Linda's plants - she grabbed the leash and since Carlos Romero was here, he retied it up the hill .... but he was as scared of it as we were ahahahaha

news: Marc is not going to Guam. he is going to Korea for a year. I think he will love lit. i think he does NOT like north carolina. sound s like there is a lot of discrimination - helloooooooooooooooooo DEEP SOUTH - and sounds like they should get out of dodge while they are ahead

I would love to visit Korea and will do so.

the coop bigwigs came today - Les had invited Pancho and  Enrique and started cooking chicken and making a salad a 1 PM.  I was dealing with the consulate since Luis could NOT make the stupid payment at the bank for the power of attorney. stupid brazilian beurocracy. waste of time. waste of energy. such disorganiztion even abroad where it could be easy. i call. no one to answer. i write email. no one to answer. another day willn ow go by.  if it isnt handled by Friday - I have to go to san diego. r)(*&^%$#$

at any rate - i digress - not only the 2 people showed up for lunch, but they brought 3 extra men !!!!  huge lunch. very delicious but what stress ... I was not sure we had enough food (which is ridiculous since neither Les not I ever EVER make small amounts of any dish !!!!)
