The surfing competition was fantastic

it was so wonderful - lots of people - lots of fantastic waves

the photos are incredible :)

We had ONE female competitor from Punta Abreojos and we gave her a prize - Les took some amazing photos of her - you go girl :)))))))))))))))))))))

Have to go clewan the new house Les bought - we have a tenant who is a contractor and he and I may work out a deal - he helps around the hosue and stays for free. good for me. and good for him. and he likes la bocana and he likes the fishing in the lagoon. he is Bruce and he is from Calgary. the house needs major wok - i call it the rinki dink house - it is wooden and it is just 4 walls with a roof on it. needs major major work.

nice to have a day off - first day off in months and months

BUT

I did go and clean this morning - me and 5 little kids. the area in front of the baseball field is full of water and full of plastic bags. wish the world would create a bag that simply disintegrates or wish that we would just BAN them once and for all

the Festival del Dia del Medio Ambiente was ..... a fiasco.  i told valentin and edith to simply shoot me if i ever ever ever said i would do one again. i will not harp on the negative, but it was a horrible and very stressful Saturday. thank goodness for the positive part = the surfers and the excitement and the positive feedback from the locals :)))))))))))))))))))))))
