It is my son's birthday today. Didn't get to tlk to him but left a message.  He is 26. How is it that time flies by so fast ????  To me, he is still my munchkin.

Such a day ... started out by getting the nicest email from the Biosfera man who handles all the money that is being handed out right and left. He tried to tell me yesterday that it is the end of the year and there is NO money left. He must think I was NOT born a Brazilian.  Ddidn't believe a word of it and had written back requesting he look for "just a little bit"  somewhere which could help me. Since Chelo just got 112,000 pesos, I want some of it toooooooooooooooooo !!!!!

so, he wrote the nicest email and of course my gut was right on.  He does have "a little" money. So, I had Edith helpme with a superb wonderful fantastic letter explaining that we just need the permit and the moeny tomake a fence around the land, which has already been donated.  I also want the TV here in January when we "break ground" for the project and I want his office to coordinate it (not too much to ask, is it ????) so that we are not left behind Baja Norte. That is the killer. There is a competition - fierce - between the 2 parties and the 2 governors and I am using that competition to my advantage. Thanks Mauro for making the suggestion.

The Vizcaino guy is going to get me the plans they used in BOLA. How great is that.  MY only request was that we use California standards and I gave him the site. Otherwise, we are polluting the water. BOLA already had a problem with this. NO pollution from La Bocana, that's for sure !

Then I organized 2 garage sales for this week and in a minute I leave to take the stuff for tomorrow morning with Juanchys daughter (back from La Paz).  Then on Thursday in the afternoon with Edith.  Maybe next week I will sell off some of my jewelery - I have beautiful rings and bracelets and you knwo what ????  I don't wear them.  The only ones I wear and love are the ones Les has given me. It is for my dream, so I will hold a special pre-xmas gold and pearls sale .....

I will also make 2 or 3 cakes for tomorrow. I made the most delicious cakes last week. The coop will sell two of them - one in pieces and one whole one and the beer store the other cake - probably whole as well. It is a chocolate banana cake that is beyond good. My invention !!

A local surfer wants to hold a competition at the end of the Month of December. Not sure if I can pull it off  on such shortnotice, but it is the only month where there are waves here AND I guess there are some famous and good surfers in Punta Abreojos  who can judge. And they will be happy with wetsuits, wax and leashes (altho I want a surfborad as first prize !!!!)  And they promise to keep the beach clean in exchange. I LOVE THOSE WORDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  musica maestro !!!!!

My mom, as always, is my big fan and has been getting her friends to read this blog, so I willpost what one of them wrote - THANKS IVAN ......feel like donating a surfboard  ????  or a relleno sanitario ??? just kidding. Muito obrigada pelas palavras bonitas. E isso q me faz querer continuar quando as vezes  parece que tudo vai contra !!
