Saturday, Halloween Day

I forgot to post yesteday (Friday) ..... the day flew by !  I cleaned la bocana for an hour and half in the morning. I taught a beginning class at 10 a.m. Cleaned the house. Washed sheets for the 3 beds the guests used. took pics of them when they returned from their fishing.  Made 3 beds.  Mopped the very dusty fllor - it has been really dusty lately - not a  lot of wind, but enough to make the floors dull.   Inthe afternoon I taught the younger kids and the group has grown to about 16 little ones.  Age starts between 6 and 7 and they are great !!  They pick up English as if they were drinking water....too  bad we can' t do this any more as adults.

Today is Saturday.  The teenage students and I cleaned up by the old coop plant.  It took about 12 of us 2 hours and we did a great job.  It looks realy clean now.  That has been on my mind for 8 months. What a relief !!  Then  I took them out for sodas or water - dropped them off at home and I continued cleaning other parts of town.  It is now noon - just got home. hot and tired and very, very filthy but happy that la bocana is a LOT cleaner.

I need a source of money.  It is so hard when I cannot work here....We have our B and B, but that is les's money. I have to be creative and the idea just hasn't come to me yet. I really need that fish idea to pan out.

Some little ones have been helping out too....

I also have decided to write a petition to the governor for everyone to sign asking for trash drums and asking for a bulldozer so we can bury our trash.  Maybe a little more money while I am at at !!  It would be great to pay someone to pick up the trash ... generates one or two more jobs and that is how every other city in the world does it.

Clark is coming today. He is the one who stopped by mom's house and brought me my passport.  I guess he stayed in Campo Rene and went fishing with Lilly for a couple days. This will be his first time in La Bocana.  Lets see if he likes it ...

Yesterday the 3 gringoes left and as I took their picture, they asked if it would be on the internet - cannot let them down !!  Will put it up here later !!
