what a crazy day

we have guests in the back bedrooms who were gone all day fishing. they didnt catch much - mostly tuna and not so huge.  but they are happy. drinking margaritas after they get home. they seem to get along so well - Kevin and son Chad were here last year.  They brought 2 friends.  They are int he half finished garage connecting rooms. I think it is peorfect for them. More privacy and they can hang out together with connecting doors.

Then we got a call last night from the local delegado about 7 people coming from la paz. movers and shakers. well, they never called back to confirm - so, this afternoon, I get a call from Antonio who wants to come with wife and baby for one night. done.  He was referred to us by the local hotel which is packed full.  Turns out he is related to Nacho, our neighbor and one of Les's best friends here in town. Sweet wife and young one year old, named Jose Antonio.

Another phonecall from Nello asking if we can take another family that will arrive at midnight from San Quintin.  He will bring them over and show them the room.  Three in that group.

Then about 15 minutes ago, the delegado in town calls to ask for one room - there are three kids and 2 adults. I give them a BIG discount. The parents will sleep with the youngest who is mentally challendged and the cutest kid. The other 2 boys will share the other bed. Lucky for them, one of the beds is a queen bed !!

All our rooms are packed.  Now why all this action ?????

No one told us that this Sunday is a big off road championship tournament right in town !!  The trucks are amazing !!! Pics tomorrow .... goodnight ...
